How to Hire from Advance Tool Hire: Simple, Straightforward, and Reliable
Hiring the right tools shouldn’t be a hassle. At Advance Tool Hire, we’ve made the process quick and customer-friendly. Here’s everything you need to know to get started:
1. Visit Our Depot with ID & Deposit
To begin your hire:
Come into one of our depots with two forms of identification that show your name and address (for example, a passport, driving licence, or a recent bank statement).
Bring the deposit required for the equipment you plan to hire.
Our team will help you through the paperwork and guide you on using the equipment safely.
2. Fuel & Pricing Notes
All prices are quoted plus VAT.
Delivery costs are provided at the time of your enquiry (if applicable).
The machines are supplied with a full tank of fuel. If you return equipment without refilling, fuel charges will apply.
You’re charged for hire until you officially “off-hire” the equipment.
3. Off-Hiring: Your Responsibility
Once you're finished:
You must contact us to arrange collection of the hired equipment.
Until an off-hire reference number is issued, charges continue to accrue.
Please don’t assume that leaving the equipment is enough — the off-hire call is essential.
We ask for up to three days’ notice for collections after you’ve scheduled a pick-up with our staff. Direct conversations with the driver do not count as official arrangements.
4. Month-End & Payment Details
If your hire spans the end of a month and payment arrangements haven't been finalised, we reserve the right to charge for the outstanding amount from the deposit account you used.
